Tilligerry Habitat State Reserve

Discover unusual flora and fauna in this 9-hectare reserve located on the sandy foreshore of Tanilba Bay. Best of all, entry is free! Get your map at the straw bale Environment Centre and take the smooth walking tracks and boardwalks as marked. See native birds and find bush tucker plants in season. Guided tours are available (for a fee) for you to learn more about our local history and culture.

Fishermans Bay Foreshore

Fishermans Bay Foreshore is close to Anna Bay and only a short-drive from Lemon Tree Passage on the stunning NSW North Coast. Take your family and friends for a picnic and a swim at the secluded beach, wade through the rockpools, go snorkelling or take your binoculars (May to October) for a spot of whale watching. If you have a boat or kayak, you can launch from the small boat ramp.

Anna Bay

Anna Bay is a quaint village located on the edge of Birubi Beach – the most extensive coastal sand mass in New South Wales. Go quad-biking, sand-boarding or be adventurous and ride a camel. You can also have the full Aussie experience and learn to surf at Anna Bay’s gnarly surf school.

Irukandji provides a unique experience to interact with marine life and to join them in their world. The centre operates to the highest standard of animal husbandry and conservation practices. Experience the truly intelligent and beautiful nature of sharks, rays and the weird and wonderful ocean world. Take student groups and children to this centre to learn more about Australia’s ecosystems.
