Morphetville Racecourse (28km)

Morphetville Racecourse is South Australia’s largest racecourse and home to over 50 races per year. Popular among locals and visitors, the racecourse makes for a great day out, beautiful grounds, on-site restaurants and bars and indoor and outdoor seating. Around 35 minutes drive from your accommodation, Morphetville Racecourse offers onsite parking. Taxi and public transport services are also available.

Adelaide International Raceway and Speedway City (9km)

Adelaide International Raceway is a must see for car fanatics, playing host to Nascar, Drag Racing, Touring Cars and Drift Racing during the year. Just over 10 minutes drive from your accommodation at Highway 1 Holiday & Lifestyle Park, visiting the Raceway is also an easy trip. Check the site’s calendar during your time of travel to see what events you can look forward to.

Barossa Valley (50km)

Just over 40 minutes drive from your accommodation at Highway 1 Holiday & Lifestyle Park is the renowned Barossa Valley Wine Region. Home to over 150 wineries, this iconic region offers some of Australia’s best wines along with divine gourmet produce. Visit cellar doors, sample local dairy products and try fresh local produce in this beautiful region. We’re sure you’ll uncover a few gems to bring back to your cabin or camp site!

Adelaide Super-Drome (12km)

Adelaide Super-Drome is South Australia’s premier cycling track, playing host to a number of international competitions and events throughout the year. For a taste of the action, look out through the floor to ceiling glass windows which line the track. The site has also been endorsed by Olympic Medalist, Anna Meares, who often returns to host events.

Adelaide Zoo (18km)

Also known as the Australian Panda home, as it’s the only place in Australia that has Giant Panda’s. The best part about this zoo, like much of Adelaide’s attractions, is that it sits just on the outskirts of the city. With African lions, American alligators, Chilean flamingos and some other pretty stunning creatures, the Adelaide Zoo holds a great day of education and entertainment for all ages.
