We understand this struggle and have tried to make your trip easier by recommending our top 5 dog-friendly beaches in New South Wales (NSW) where your dog can splash and dash until their hearts content.

1. Rose Bay Beach

Top of the list is the Eastern Suburbs hidden gem, Rose Bay Dog Beach. This 24/7 off-leash local favourite is where your pooch can chase seagulls and get gloriously sandy all day long. There is a café located just around the corner called Jezve Coffee which is a fantastic spot to grab a coffee or quick feed while enjoying the stunning Sydney Harbour views. Parking can be a little tricky though so you may have to spend time searching, but the beach is definitely worth it.
